There must be something in the water of the Canary Island seas. Something that turns quiet kids into tasteful buttoned-up hooligan experts in house music. 
“Luxemburgo” is the huge Vicario Musique “choon” everyone was waiting for. A groovy sure shot which combines commanding ferocity and a delicate class in a way reminiscent of Michael J Collins early work, but also hints at Alex & Isaac’s passion for house and mysterious funky vocals- almost ambient melodies à la Lone, carried by a strong rhythm built on noble drums, unraveling the most “hands in the air” breakdown since the invention of putting your hands in the air. Incredible crowd reaction on first listen and massive early feedback from our close circle hint at a very big club success for this track. Remix by the brilliant Maestro James Teej giving a deeper Robotic version, charismatic chords on the other, ready for the beach. And if it wasn’t enough Alex Kaddour gets back on the funkiness jupiter-juno-er disco for another version of the track 
“My History” It’s a weird, aggro yet deepness reminding to the art of Robert Owens, always building up yet never blatantly exploding but rather keeping your feet on the floor for some seriously sweaty dance action. Those who know us well will understand why we are absolutely in love with it to death. Still deeper. A great team-up with Alex, Adrían Rodríguez and the beautiful Dania.

The Tenth Guest Special is with Spain’s biggest upcoming talent. He released on labels such as Hypercolour, Suol and his own imprint Fiakun. Collaborating with Tom Demac, remixing Till Von Sein, Aitor Etxebarria AKA ”El_Txef_A” is doing it big in 2012. Here’s his exclusive podcast for Vicario Musique and a little interview.

                                             

Where are you from and where do you live now?

I am from  Gernika , but now i am living in Bilbao. So i am from the Basque Country

If the aim of this interview is to introduce people to you, what should i be asking? what do people need to know about you? what El_Txef_A special?

With the heart is the only way to do things right.

Growing up, if your future self were to travel back in time and tell you that you’d be “making music” for a living, what would you say? Nice but where is the money!!!!!

Current weapon(s) of production? Heart

If you could pick one person to collaborate with who would it be?  Ufffff. there is too much interesant artist all around the world.

Tell us a bit about what people can expect from you in the future? 

In a future near on this 2012. Im going to release my first LP. ” Slow dancing in a burning room “. I am focusing all my energy right now on this. Promotion , European Tour for the album release from March till May. I’m so excited about it.

 How important is where one lives for a career in music production?

I think that everything around you influence you in any way, for better or for worse. I used to be more or less ” out ” of all mode. I think i live the best place to be on that mode.

What advice would you give to aspiring producers?

Do what you feel.

Can you tell us one record or song that has changed your life

Try again Aliyah - produced by Timbaland.

What are the best things about being on the road? Worst? Best moment on the road?

The best feeling is that i’m doing what i ever wanted. Th worst part is that i don’t like to flight. Best moment on the road was last American tour. Was something really special fo me.

Is there anything special coming up here in the near future that people should know about? I will be as active as ever
